Gait to the Spirit 2013—— UPDATE Oct. 18 to 21

     Please note that aside from our ticketed Friday and Saturday evening performances by international artists, Mandala also presents a FREE (give what you can) afternoon performance of KATHAK, the vibrant North Indian classical dance style with Parul Gupta – Toronto and the “Nritya Manjaree” dancers: Anu Sharma, Rena Boggaram (Began) and Surabhi Prasad, under the artistic direction of Mrs. Madhu Khare – B.C.

     This performance is held on Oct. 20, Sunday afternoon at 1.30 p.m..

     Also on the program, an “Encounter with the Artists”, Navia Natarajan and Bhavajan Kumar, animated by artistic director of Mandala ~ Jai Govinda, on Saturday Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. This event is FREE and all are welcome.

     The ODISSI master class with SUJATA MOHAPATRA is an introduction to this curvaceous classical dance style, and will be held on Sunday Oct 20 from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.. All are welcome. Please register now as we will limit attendance to 30 persons. Cost -$30. – jai@mandalarts.ca
